Amir is a global thought leader in designing, creating, and implementing immersive technology tools at scale. As CEO of REM5 STUDIOS, he helps mission-driven organizations, brands, and in-person event designers utilize virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and spatial computing to inspire action.
Through projects like Polio's Last Mile and Apporter La Vie, his team brings the reality of healthcare in Zambia and the DRC to a global stage. These immersive experiences, supported by the Gates Foundation, have engaged over 15,000 people across 50 events, driving tangible support in policy and finance. Today, the team continues to prioritize innovation, finding new ways to demonstrate ROI when the global health sector needs it most.
Prior to founding REM5, Amir spent 12+ years in investment banking and corporate finance with a focus on mergers and acquisitions – BMO Capital Markets, Greene Holcomb Fisher, and Chartwell Capital Solutions. He has been involved in more than 100 M&A transactions across a broad range of industries, with companies ranging from $10 million to more than $1 billion in revenue.
