Nathan Jameson

Founder & Managing Partner

Founder & Managing Partner, Arx Capital | Principal, Sojourner Capital

Nathan Jameson is the Founder and Managing Partner of Arx Capital, a private investment firm focused on acquiring and operating niche real estate assets in sectors characterized by durable demand, fragmented ownership, and constrained supply. He is also the principal of Sojourner Capital, his family office, through which he invests alongside a select group of partners with a long-term, stewardship-oriented mindset.

Nathan is known for his disciplined approach to capital allocation and his operator's perspective as a principal investor. Rather than approaching investments purely as financial transactions, he views investing as a form of leadership and responsibility—deploying capital in ways that serve investors, communities, and long-term economic resilience.

He founded Arx Capital to pursue opportunities in overlooked real estate sectors, particularly manufactured housing communities and other necessity-based asset classes that provide essential, affordable housing. Under his leadership, the firm has acquired and operated multiple communities with a focus on operational improvement, thoughtful capital investment, and durable long-term value creation.

Unlike many investment sponsors, Nathan invests significant personal capital alongside his partners and remains deeply involved in acquisition strategy, asset management, and investor alignment. Through Sojourner Capital, he applies the same principles to his family's capital—prioritizing resilience, tax efficiency, and generational durability over short-term gains.

Nathan earned his MBA from Lehigh University with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship and graduated summa cum laude from UNC Greensboro, where he was a four-year Division I basketball player and First Team Academic All-America honoree. He was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and nominated for the Rhodes Scholarship.

After his playing career, Nathan served as a Division I college basketball coach and both played and coached in the NCAA Tournament. That experience competing and leading in high-pressure environments continues to shape his leadership style in business and investing.

Nathan lives in Pennsylvania with his wife and children. He is actively involved in White Horse Farm, a family agricultural initiative focused on raising heritage-breed livestock and producing responsibly raised food for the local community. His work reflects a broader commitment to stewardship, land management, and rebuilding trust in local systems.

His leadership philosophy is anchored in stewardship and intentional discipleship to Jesus Christ, integrating faith, family, work, and service into a unified life aimed at long-term impact.

Nathan Jameson approaches investing with a stewardship-oriented mindset. His investment philosophy reflects a commitment to durable assets, disciplined capital allocation, and long-term alignment with investors and communities.

Invest in Essential-Use Assets

Arx Capital focuses on real estate assets that serve fundamental human needs. Manufactured housing communities and similar sectors provide durable demand and long-term relevance regardless of economic cycles.

Prioritize Cash Flow and Tax Efficiency

Investment decisions are grounded in disciplined financial fundamentals, emphasizing stable cash flow, tax efficiency, and asymmetric risk-to-reward opportunities rather than speculative appreciation.

Seek Fragmented Markets with Operational Edge

Arx targets markets where ownership is fragmented and operational improvements can create meaningful value. In these environments, disciplined execution and hands-on management become competitive advantages.

Align Capital Through Principal Investment

Nathan invests his own capital alongside partners through his family office, Sojourner Capital. This alignment ensures incentives remain consistent and decisions prioritize long-term outcomes over short-term gains.

About Arx Capital

Founded in 2016, Arx Capital is a real estate private equity firm focused on necessity-based, real-asset investments including manufactured housing communities, RV parks, and self-storage.

The firm was built on a simple conviction: capital should serve people and places, not just produce returns. Arx focuses on sectors where demand is durable, supply is constrained, and long-term stewardship creates value for both investors and communities.

With over $70 million raised through Arx Capital — and more than $200 million in prior capital participation — the firm combines institutional investment discipline with deep operational experience in land acquisition, entitlements, construction, and asset management.

Unlike many sponsors in the private markets, Arx Capital's investments are historically led by significant capital commitments from Nathan Jameson's own family office. When sponsor capital sits meaningfully alongside investor capital, incentives align, risk is shared, and long-term decision-making replaces short-term optimization.

Arx is not built to maximize headlines or quick cycles. It is built to endure — structured for durability, disciplined growth, and multi-decade stewardship.
